You’re well on your way down the path to owning your first investment property undertaking the necessary due diligence or you might have already made that first purchase.
You have your investment plan, found the right coach, your finances are in place, you have the right structure for your investment. It’s now time to ask yourself ‘who is going to look after this important asset of mine?’
Who you choose to manage your investment property is critical, as the difference between a poor property management team and a great property management team can make a huge difference to your property portfolio in both the short and long term. You may be contemplating that ‘team’ being you!
Many property investors do not put anywhere near enough emphasis on property management with some believing it is just a matter of collecting the rent and the property will look after itself. Nothing could be further from the truth. A quality property management team is paramount to the viability and success of your real estate portfolio. It is of the utmost importance that your properties are let as quickly as possible, vacancies are kept to an absolute minimum and rents are kept at the highest levels possible maximising returns. The higher the returns the higher the value of your property and the sooner you can buy your next investment property. Also of great importance is the quality of tenant living in your investment property as a great tenant could be with you for many years, they look after the property as if it was their own keeping it in brilliant condition thus making your investment as stress free as possible.
